    Municipal Brownfields Project, Holyoke, MA    
         
    CDW performed the initial investigation of oil and hazardous material releases for an abandoned City-owned site for the Massachusetts Highway Department as part of their supplemental environmental and community brownfields program. CDW performed a subsurface investigation and research into past uses of the property.  CDW identified a plume of separate phase #2 fuel oil and recommended that a Release Abatement Measure be implemented to recover the product prior to redevelopment of the parcel. CDW designed and installed the remediation system which consisted of a product recovery pumping system and associated controls, as well as a piping network to a product storage area.
