| CDW conducted a environmental site investigation at
the 15-acre former fuel storage terminal for the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers funded by the Defense Environmental Restoration Program. The
property was planned to be redeveloped for Industrial or commercial use,
depending upon the outcome of comprehensive soil and groundwater testing.
The objective was to determine if a release to the environment of oil or
hazardous material caused by historical Site activities for the handling
and storage of aviation fuels occurred and whether Site conditions
warranted further investigation and/or remedial response actions under the
Massachusetts Contingency Plan prior to redevelopment. |
