CDW completed the environmental permitting and civil/site design engineering of multiple communications tower sites for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). The tower sites were intended to link the ten (10) waterworks sites throughout the state to provide the MWRA with a central monitoring capability for their statewide network. The site locations range from the top of a mountain in a restricted viewshed to a residential neighborhood. The project included feasibility studies to establish the best transmission location, roadway, drainage and subsurface utility design, and the identification of construction restrictions to minimize overall permit and regulatory requirements.
