CDW prepared engineering specifications relative to precharacterization, management and disposal of contaminated soil and wastewater generated during specific portions of this large project. CDW reviewed submittals related to the specification and conducted field inspections to ensure all federal and state guidelines were being followed with respect to the project’s waste disposal. We provided guidance on a variety of waste management issues that developed during the course of the project including the disposal of soil contaminated with VOCs, PCBs, and metals, and with the removal and disposal of underground storage tanks encountered during excavation activities.
