CDW provided professional services during the design and construction phases of this demolition project including:

• Preparing construction documents for the abatement and demolition of multiple buildings.
• Reviewing and approval of shop drawings and samples, payment requisitions, and other construction documents.
• Conducting weekly construction meetings.
• Conducting periodic inspections of construction activities and dust monitoring during demolition.
• Preparing record drawings from final as-builts.

The following buildings were included in the overall project: Medfield Laundry Building, Medfield Carriage House, and Worcester Farm House.

The Clark Building

CDW performed a visual evaluation of the condition of the existing hospital building with regard to construction materials and building techniques together with identification of potential unstable areas. Our team also conducted a survey of existing conditions surrounding the building including adjacent roadways, adjacent access drives, and underground utilities. We prepared construction documents for the demolition and surface grade restoration of the Clark Building site as well as plans to secure vulnerable building openings on the Campus.

The Odyssey House

• Preparing record drawings from final as-builts.
