CDW was responsible for permitting related to the reconstruction of the Storrow Drive Tunnels for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our team identified permit requirements relative to the investigation, design, and ultimate construction of the reconstruction project. CDW was responsible for performing an evaluation of construction alternatives to determine permitting impacts, and provided recommendations for mitigation of these impacts. We also coordinated ongoing permit compliance documentation and consultation. CDW prepared and coordinated permit documentation with appropriate agencies such as the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Army Corps of Engineers, National Historic Register, Boston Traffic Department, US EPA, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Unit and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and the Federal Highway Administration.
